On 8 June 2025: Unveiled to the public at Xbox Games Showcase 2025, Aniimo (announced a few days earlier) is officially described as "Aniimo is a ground-breaking open-world ARPG where players are invited to join the exploration of a living and dynamic world, and meet the magical Aniimo that inhabit it. Instead of waiting for someone else to create the game of their dreams, the Aniimo team made it themselves. Journey through a beautiful new world, meet, know and capture the Aniimo that inhabit it. Fight Aniimo in real time or use the Twining system to become Aniimo and experience the game in a whole new way."

The game will arrive in 2026 for PC, Xbox Series X/S and mobile. On the former two platforms, there will be a closed beta testing opportunity, which can be signed up for on the official website. ¹ ²
