On 6 June 2025: The game's release date was revealed during the Summer Game Fest 2025 Showcase, which will be available digitally and physically on September 25 this year. Pre-orders for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC are now available at a price of £64.99/€69.99.

Physical pre-orders for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch- OLED Model, and Nintendo Switch Lite are available now starting at £54.99 with digital pre-orders coming soon. The Nintendo Switch 2 system version will be coming at a later date and will be available starting at £64.99. There will be a paid upgrade path available for owners of the Nintendo Switch version. Another piece of news we learned from the trailer is that Joker and Kasuga Ichiban from other SEGA franchises will be playable characters in the game, and we can welcome Hatsune Miko as a guest character (and there will be more). These characters will be available for free through updates.
