A Fairytale Action-Adventure of Courage, Puzzles, and Magic

Durban, South Africa –October 1, 2025– Independent development studio 3 Wishes Games (PTY) LTD has announced that The Well of Essenwood, an action-adventure game released on the 26th February 2025, is officially available on Steam, Epic Store, and itch.io. A downloadable demo version of the game is also available.

The demo features the main menu and one playable level, Mount Atrium, with added Player Tips. In this level, players take control of Red and Bo-Peep, using their unique abilities to solve puzzles, overcome obstacles, and battle enemies.

The Well of Essenwood is a mystical source hidden deep within a medieval fairytale forest, holding the magic that sustains the land. Its power becomes the target of a sinister plot, drawing Red Riding Hood and Bo-Peep into separate adventures that eventually unite them in a quest to protect it.

Guided by the Fairy Godmother, who grants each a wish and a magical item, the heroines journey through enchanted landscapes where dark forces seek to corrupt the land. Along the way, they must face wolves and other corrupted creatures, solve puzzles, and uncover secrets. Through courage and teamwork, they unite their strengths to safeguard the Well and restore balance to their world.
