Dstroy 2 Launching on Steam in 2026

A Bombermania Local Multiplayer Game

Sommières, France –December 3, 2025– Indie game development studio Fully Bugged has announced that Dstroy 2, a bombermania local multiplayer game, will be available on Steam in 2026. A free downloadable demo version of the game is currently available.

Dstroy 2 is a 2D pixel-art puzzle-action adventure and competitive maze battler inspired by the Bomberman series, and a modern sequel to the original 1995 MS-DOS game.

The full release will include three main modes, including a solo or co-op Adventure mode—absent from the demo—that brings story-driven progression and teamwork back to the series.

The current demo showcases the Tournament modes, offering three versus options for two to four players: Classic, Roots, and Paint. Classic features random bonuses and maluses, Roots focuses purely on skill, and Paint challenges players to cover the arena with their color using bombs and rare power-ups. All Tournament modes support bots for solo practice or filling missing player spots.

Survival mode, playable solo or co-op, introduces a score-based challenge set in a sinking lava world with randomized layouts and only one life. The final version aims to offer Tournament and Survival modes for free, with the premium Adventure pack available for purchase along with Steam achievements, cards, and full Remote Play support. Players are encouraged to try the demo, wishlist the game, and reach out with any questions.
