On 6 June 2025: The game was announced at the Summer Game Fest 2025 Showcase, a 1970s-inspired multiplayer 5v5 shooter. There will be no shortage of music, as the founding members of the development studio are Dan and Mac Reynolds, who have already proven themselves with Imagine Dragons. Last Flag is expected in 2026 and is primarily being developed for PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), with console versions also in development. ¹

Furthermore, anyone who would like to try out the 20-minute (or less) Capture the Flag gameplay can sign up for the alpha playtest, for which there is no specific date yet, but it is expected to take place later this year. ²
