September 19, 2025 – Global game publisher CFK (headed by Chang-sig Koo) is proud to announce that pre-orders open today (9/19) for the physical Nintendo Switch version of new roguelite action RPG Nightmare: The Lunatic, slated to be released on December 4th (Thurs.).
Nightmare: The Lunatic, created by Korean indie game dev Maetdol Games, is a new roguelite action RPG telling of the journey to escape a never-ending nightmare. Players can experience all the action packed into this game as they switch weapons in real time to suit the circumstance, throwing out their own vivid attacks as they dodge or parry enemy attacks.
Nightmare: The Lunatic has already proven its gameplay by receiving a “Very Positive” rating on Steam and is now extending to the Nintendo Switch with the help of publisher CFK. The positive response to all of the brilliant action packed into the game raises expectations for its coming Nintendo Switch release.
CFK is also featuring Nightmare: The Lunatic at the Tokyo Game Show 2025, coming to Tokyo, Japan’s Makuhari Messe center from September 25th (Thurs.) to September 28th (Sun.), in order to promote this physical release to the Nintendo Switch. The demo will be featured at the Happinet booth in an effort to show the game’s charms to a global audience. Visitors who play the demo can pick up some merch that can only be found at the Tokyo Game Show 2025.

The limited edition of this release has been named Nightmare: The Lunatic Collector’s Edition. Those who pre-order either the standard or limited editions will be gifted a special acrylic keychain of the protagonist of the game.
